The aroma of desert rain! That delicious smell of moisture returning to the parched desert is produced by Creosote bush (Larrea tridentata). This plant goes by names because it has be used medicinally by every people that have lived alongside it: Shegoi, Gobernadora, Hediondilla, Greasewood, Chaparral, Creosote and Larrea.
An excellent first aid salve! Creosote supports skin healing and is antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral. It's an excellent skin conditioning botanical, great for garden-rough hands and dry cuticles.
